Nigerian women often just wrap a piece of brightly colored fabric instead of a skirt.

It’s called "rapa". You can wear it for all sorts of occasions — to clean the house or to cook food on the fire. Or you can combine a beautiful rapa skirt with a dressy top and go to church on Sunday or even to a wedding. It’s the most common and versatile item in any Nigerian woman’s wardrobe.
So, we did our own take on a rapa skirt. It has a comfortable cut, which does not reveal much, but adds just a little bit of spice! And, by the way, if your waistline changes, you can re-sew the buttons to increase or decrease the length of the waistband by 1.5 cm.
